Steps to reach the K2 viewpoint, Machulo La

From Islamabad, you reach Skardu via plane (35-50 minutes) or the KKH(20 hours).

From Skardu, it will take a 4-hour drive to Machulo. Machulo is located north of Khaplu, which is a 15 km drive from Khaplu.

Start Trek to Machulo La K2 View Point

The next day, you start your easiest trek for 4-5 hrs, from Machulo to Khari Broq camp.

2nd day of your trek continues for 4-5 hours till camp II

The next day, a 2-hour trek will reach you at Camp III, which is the final campsite. This campsite will settle for a night. A 3-4 hour trek from here, you will see all five 8000m peaks of Pakistan and many other mountains, valleys, and panoramic views of the district Ghanche.
