K2 Base Camp — A Truly Private Trek

My wife and I completed a private K2 Base Camp trek with Visit in Pakistan, and what impressed us most was not luxury, but the level of personal attention throughout the journey.

From Kamal’s organization before and during the trip to Ali’s guidance in the mountains, everything felt genuinely personal. Our own cook, waiter, porters and mule team looked after us every day, but without making the experience feel over-serviced or artificial. Plans were adjusted when necessary, small requests were remembered, and after several days the team stopped feeling like staff and started feeling more like people travelling with us.

K2 and Baltoro make this journey unforgettable on their own, but on a trek like this, the people around you matter a lot. Kamal, Ali and the whole team did a really good job, and we are very grateful to them for these days. We would definitely recommend Visit in Pakistan to anyone looking for a well-organized private trek to K2.

This is one of the hidden heavens, really. An undiscovered and less explored trek in the Khaplu area.
