Unclimbed Peaks in Pakistan
The Mighty Saltoro Kangri

Pakistan hosts some of the highest and least explored mountains on Earth. Unlike crowded climbing destinations, Pakistan offers raw, untouched peaks that attract elite climbers seeking first ascents.

Why Pakistan is Unique for Mountaineering

Pakistan’s Karakoram Range contains some of the most technically challenging mountains in the world. Many peaks remain unclimbed due to remoteness and harsh conditions.

  1. Muchu Chhish (7,453m) is considered the highest unclimbed peak.

  4. Batura V (7,400m): No summit until now because it is highly prone to avalanches and remote

The above Peaks from 5-10 are rarely ascended because this region has been closed to mountain climbers since the 1980s, because of the tensions between India and Pakistan. But now it is open for all trekking and expedition teams.
Other unnamed peaks in Baltistan, with many other named peaks, offer new expedition opportunities.
