K6 is one of the spectacular rock and ice-mixed peaks in Charakusa (Saraksa) of Hushe valley. The base camp for this mountain has easy access, which takes only 3 days from Skardu. K6 Peak Expedition would be the best option for those who have a limited schedule and are fond of ice climbing as well as rock climbing at the same time.

Direction and Recommendation

Two separate routes can be chosen to reach K6 Peak, one via the Gondogoro Pass and the other through the Skardu Hushe valley. Hushe is recommended because it is the shortest to reach. There are Machulo and Hushe Valleys to acclimatize, and they are cheaper to reach after two days. Peaks higher than 7000m need to get a permit, royalty fees, and expedition clearance.

Visit in Pakistan Treks, Tours & Expeditions provides a complete proposal for the K6 Peak Expedition and has all the requirements needed for a successful adventure to the top of the summit.
