Inclusion & Exclusion of Services

All of Jeep Safaris/Tours, Trekkings and Expeditions have their own inclusion and exclusion mentioned in their respective products on our website already. However, for bespoke or customised travel plans, the inclusion and exclusion are subject to the plan accordingly.

PERMISSION PROCESS

No permission is required to visit Pakistan, including Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. But for trekking, we have Open and Restricted zones. A permit is only required for restricted zones.

Remarks: Once we get the climbing/trekking permit, no refund will be made by the Gilgit Baltistan Council in Islamabad.

VIP is not responsible for itinerary changes due to roadblocks, natural disasters, flight delays, landslides, floods, political unrest, or illness. Any extra costs must be covered by the client. We recommend reviewing our Easy and Secure Terms & Conditions.

VIP also provides transportation, accommodation, and other services, but cannot be held liable for accidents, damages, or losses beyond our control.

Additionally, we assist with Pakistan tourist visas or visa-on-arrival by providing invitation and hotel reservation letters.

Booking And Payment Policy

For the booking and documentation process, we require the scanned front page photo of your passport.

Travellers are obliged to pay a 30%  down payment. The outstanding balance must be settled one week before you arrive in Pakistan.

Cancellation Policy

VIP reserves the right to deduct costs for hotel reservations, airline confirmations, documentation, and other preparations made before the client’s arrival.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refunds are as follows:

  • Before 90 days: 50% of the trip cost is charged, plus bank transfer fees.

  • Within 90 days: No refund is provided.

No refund will be given if a participant abandons the trip after arrival, leaves early for health or other reasons, or if the group returns before the scheduled end.

Supposition of Risk

Trips involve mountaineering risks, accidents, and remote-area hazards. Travellers accept all risks, and VIP, along with its partners, is not liable for injuries, accidents, or losses.

Travel Insurance 

We strongly recommend that travellers and trekkers obtain comprehensive insurance covering trip cancellation, accidents, health emergencies, evacuation, and loss, theft, or damage of baggage and personal belongings.

Privacy and Complaints 

Any personal information you provide when booking a trip with us is strictly confidential and will not be used for any other purpose. If you have any concerns during the trip, inform your tour leader or guide immediately. Other complaints can be sent via email or phone.

Additional Charges 

Rooms and tents are provided on a twin-sharing basis. Single supplements apply if a client does not have a roommate.

Revision of Tour Cost

We reserve the right to revise the pricing rates disclosed to you, under such circumstances that are deemed necessary, or for reasons out of our control, for example, changes in exchange rates, governmental actions, permit fees, etc.

Unforeseen Circumstances 

If a trip is cancelled due to natural disasters, conflict, or bad weather, we may offer a similar alternative. Otherwise, payments are refunded minus costs, and additional expenses are the client’s responsibility.

Client’s Responsibility 

VIP guides have full authority for group safety. Any unlawful act under the Pakistan tourism law may lead to immediate removal without refund.

Impact on your Journey

Trips may be affected by weather, flights, or road conditions. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Helicopter Rescue

The expedition/trekking team must pay USD 15,000 in cash for emergency evacuation in Islamabad. If this price is found expensive, we’ve got you covered under Global Rescue Insurance.
