Thalay La Trek 2023 in Baltistan Itinerary
Thalay La Trek in 2023 is becoming a top trending destination in Baltistan for couple days excursion. Tourist while staying in Skardu has sufficient times to explore the surroundings in Skardu and Khaplu. The best destinations are Thalay La Trek, Machulo La K2 Viewpoint Trek, Marsur Rock etc. These are easiest, economical and most interesting treks to do once while having free time in Skardu.
Day 1:
Drive from Skardu or Khaplu to Thaly Broq. If you you reaching at Daghoni Bridge from Skardu will take 2 hrs while 40 minuets drive from Khaplu. This bridge towards Thaly village will arrive in more two hours to the pastures. Jeep Drive to Bukma, and trek to Olma, the last village of the valley. Overnight in Camping.
Day 2:
Further trek to Dubla Khan, and overnight in tents. This is full open sky and green pastures stream water side by side while trekking towards the top.
Day 3.
Trek to Thallay La, By trekking two hours we will be at the top of the Thallay La (4572 M). Masherbrum range and Mango Gusor (6288 m) can be seen from top. The view is fantastic and majestic. After a short stay, we will start trekking towards Deserpa, which is an ideal campsite and summer pasture. Overnight in the tents.
Day4.
Trek down to Shigar village and drive to Skardu. Overnight in Hotel.
